TeacherAssistant/Assistant Group Supervisor Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

1.  A high school diploma and 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field.

2.  A high school diploma and 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field and I year of experience with children.

3.  A high school diploma and completion of a post-secondary training curriculum in child or staff health, child development, early childhood education and special education, nutrition for children, or child care program development.

4.A high school diploma and 2 years of experience with children.

All day care employees must have a current physical and TB test along with the following 3 clearances prior to employment:

1. Child Abuse History Clearance
2. Criminal Record Check
3. FBI Criminal History Report
